Game modes: match, Winner Stays On, Shuffle, training

A PrimePlay game is a match (two teams), Winner Stays On (three teams), Shuffle (new random teams every short game) or a coached training session.

Updated 20 October 2026

Every game shows its team size (5v5, 6v6 or 7v7) and its game mode.

Match. Two teams, one match. With subs, the rotation is every 5 minutes: the sub goes in goal, the keeper moves out to the pitch and one outfield player comes off. Without subs, the keeper changes every 5 minutes. Everyone gets the same time, in goal too.

Winner Stays On. Three teams: two play, one waits. A game lasts 7 minutes or until a team scores 2. The winners stay on. If it's a draw, the team that came on last stays.

Shuffle. New random teams for every short game, picked before kickoff. You play for your own points: win 3, draw 1, loss 0. They count for the Shuffle leaderboard.

Training session. A coach, set places, no teams, no score and no Man of the Match. You pay and cancel like any other game. It's never cancelled for too few players, and it doesn't count towards stats, streaks or achievements.
