Your notifications

We only want to ping you for things that matter. Money, your bookings and anything that changes your game are never held back. The rest comes in small doses.

What is never held back

• Bookings and payments: receipts, refunds, cancellations, security alerts and sign-in codes.
• A spot from the waiting list, an invite, or being made captain.
• Changes to a game you're in, and messages from players.

The daily limit and the quiet hours below don't touch these.

What is limited

Games you watch, players you follow, match recaps and rewards reach you by push or WhatsApp at most 2 times a day, and never between 22:00 and 08:00 (Portugal time). A notification held back for those hours or for the day goes out when the next window opens. If it's more than 36 hours old by then, it's no longer news and we drop it. It still shows in your notifications.

The reminders for one game, the day before and the same day, are never sent less than 6 hours apart.

Choose what you get

Go to Settings, Notifications. There is one card for each of: Bookings and payments (Always on), Your games, Games you watch, Players you follow, Messages, Clubs, Match recap and Rewards and achievements.

Each card has a push switch. Tap Advanced: choose channels to pick In app, Push, E-mail and WhatsApp one by one, where the card offers them. For bookings, In app and E-mail stay on.

Sign-in codes come by WhatsApp or SMS, your pick. Weekly programme is a Sunday evening e-mail with next week's games.
