Hosting a game: create it, share it, run it

Create the game from Play in four steps, keep it private to your club or make it public so it shows on Play, and add players yourself.

Updated 29 October 2026

You book the pitch, we run the sign-ups. For now Create a game is open to the presidents of one club. Don't see it? It isn't open for you yet.

  1. Where: pick the venue. Not in the list? Add it with its address and a pin.
  2. When: the date, the time, and 60, 90 or 120 minutes.
  3. Game: team size and mode, subs, whether you play, and a short description.
  4. Payment: Free, Online or At the pitch. See Prices and fees for hosts.

Private or public. Club games start Private: only your club's members see them and book, and there's no link to share. Switch Private off, when you create the game or later, and it shows on Play for every player, who books it like any other game.

Approval. Every new game waits for our OK. Until then only you see it, and you get a notification when it's live.

Your players. On the game page, Add a player puts someone on the list yourself: a PrimePlay player, or just a name for a friend without an account. People you add take a spot without paying through PrimePlay. Mark who paid you at the pitch. You get a notification each time someone books.

Everyone who plays must be on the list. If you play free, you can't leave your own game: to step out, cancel it.
